Prayer for Annual Conference
God of love and power,
God of grace and glory,
God of us all,
we gather in joy and praise before you.
Pour out your Holy Spirit upon this session of Holston Annual
Conference that we may have holy boldness to offer Christ in
life-changing ways.
Help us to hear again the witness of the Gospel Evangelists: Matthew,
Mark, Luke and John. In their portraits of Christ, help us to see you
more clearly, to love you more dearly, and to follow you more nearly.
By your grace, transform our churches into life-saving stations, making
disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
Walk among us, Lord, by the lakeside, that we may find food for our
soul and strength for the journey; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
