Morristown District
Laity and Clergy are encouraged to attend the Morristown District Call to Prayer on April 15th. This will be held at Trinity UMC in Morristown at 4 pm. This is a Conference Wide Event and will see Laity and Clergy coming together at locations in each of the 12 Districts on the 15th at 4 pm for a time of worship and prayer.
The purpose of the simultaneous prayer service is to pray for our work as disciples of Jesus Christ, on the Call to Action, for General Conference, our own Annual Conference and the Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference.
General Conference will convene April 24-May 4 in Tampa, Florida. Holston Annual Conference is scheduled for June 10-13 in Lake Junaluska, NC, and Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference will be July 18-20.
Please plan to attend this very important time of prayer and worship.
