UMW UPCOMING EVENTS
10th SOUTHEASTERN JURISDICTIONAL
QUADRENNIAL MEETING June 1-2, 2012
Holston Conference UMW President, Georgia Lister asks for all UM Women to consider attending the Southeastern Jurisdictional Quadrennial meeting. Lodging at the Sheraton Hotel in Birmingham (including taxes) - 2 double beds, 2 occupants is $238.00 per person for three (3) nights. A room to accommodate 3 persons is $168.50 per person for three (3) nights, and a room to accommodate 4 persons is $134.00 per person for three (3) nights. We will be engaged in Bible Study, hear the voice of a fantastic choir, meet new friends, see exhibits and learn about new mission opportunities. We will enjoy an evening banquet, and immediately thereafter, we will hear music and song from an exciting group, The Triumphant Quartet. June 2nd is voting day; Southeastern Jurisdiction Officers and six (6) Women's Division Directors will be elected. The meeting will conclude by 4:00 p.m. We will leave early Sunday morning for home. The Registration fee is $150.00 (if received by April 16, 2012); $175.00 (if received after that date). A sightseeing trip on June 1st will tour the Civil Rights Museum and possibly others.
