Basic and Advanced Courses

PLEASE NOTE: These courses are open to all persons for enrichment opportunity. You are encouraged to participate whether or not you are a Lay Speaker/Servant. If you desire Lay Speaking Certification, you must take the Basic Course prior to taking an Advanced Course. These courses will benefit your ministry in your local church, in your community, and beyond.
Certified Lay Speakers/Servants serve in their own churches, in other churches, and through district or conference projects and programs. To be recognized as Certified Lay Speakers/Servants, they must be recommended by their pastor and Church Council or Charge Conference, complete the basic course and one advanced Lay Speaking course every three years.
