Handicap Accessibility Grants aid local churches in making renovations or providing equipment to assist persons with handicapping conditions in having full accessibility to structures or programs in the local church.
Eligible categories include response to special needs for inclusion of individuals with, but not limited to, learning or mental impairment, physically handicapping conditions, visual impairment, or hearing impairment.
Verification (picture or letter) of completed project or complete plans for proposed project should be sent to the Director of Connectional Ministries. Only existing structures qualify for a grant. The maximum grant award for these one-time-only funds is $500.
