Volunteer Labor Program
Missions
The Volunteer Labor Program is a mission project that assists churches by working on their church, parsonage, annex or other structures.
A local church finds itself in need of repairs, additions, remodeling, etc., but lacks the funds for the entire project. The goal of the program is to provide a network of volunteers who work with the local church to perform the needed work, saving the church the cost of labor, which, in most cases, is a major portion of the total cost. In addition the volunteers may have a project at one of the Holston Conference camps.
The Volunteer Labor coordinators are:
Northern Region (Abingdon, Tazewell, Wytheville Districts): Dick Carrico
Central Region (Big Stone Gap, Kingsport, Johnson City, Morristown Districts): Herb Creech
Southern Region (Chattanooga, Cleveland, Knoxville, Maryville, Oak Ridge Districts): Al Shaver
