Living for Giving Booklet
Stewardship
The Holston Conference Stewardship Committee and the Holston Conference Foundation has introduced an exciting new resource in 2008.
LIVING FOR GIVING is a five-week study originally produced by the Western North Carolina Foundation. It features Bishop Ken Carder, presenting an excellent Wesleyan view of what it means to be blessed, how we share our blessings, and how we grow to be thankful and generous as disciples of Jesus Christ, so that we can become better equipped to make disciples of Jesus Christ.
This study is suitable for Sunday School classes, (youth and adult,) finance teams and committees, church boards or councils, special study groups and other gatherings of people seeking to develop their spiritual response to God’s generosity.
The study features a DVD with five lectures by Bishop Carder, a study book, available for downloading at this site, and containing reflective material on Bishop Carder’s lectures with group discussion questions.
We hope you can make productive use of this wonderful new resource.
