Please pray for General Conference

March 23, 2012

Today's prayer (April 28): God of salvation, call us to belief, heal us, and send us forth. Amen.

The leaders of the denomination are appealing to every United Methodist to pray for God's guidance during our church's most formative meeting, which happens only every four years.

Electronic communication is making it possible for every local congregation in every part of the world to pray with and for the 988 delegates of the 2012 General Conference. Every United Methodist will be able to read the same scripture, share the same insights, and pray the same prayer for 40 days prior to the General Conference in Tampa, Florida, as well as through each day of the General Conference, April 24 through May 4, 2012.

Please download The Upper Room guide, 50 Days of Prayer Before & During General Conference.
