Vice President/Program Coordination works cooperatively with the president and leadership team to plan and implement programs and events to strengthen the mission and fulfill the Purpose. Performs other duties, as assigned, such as: promote ecumenical relations in the conference (e.g., interpret and promote Church Women United and the World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Church Women, and encourage attendance at their events). Performs the duties of the president in her absence and serves on the leadership team, executive committee, and serves as the chairperson of the Program Coordination Committee. Acts as a resource and provides support and training to district vice presidents and serves on other committees as assigned.
Communication Coordinator works with the leadership team to promote the Purpose of United Women, create a positive image, and publicize its programs and activities across the Holston Conference. Serves as the chairperson of the Communication Committee and is editor of the conference newsletter and maintains the communications database. Acts as a resource and provides support and training to district communication coordinators, serves on the leadership team, program coordination committee, and other committees as assigned.
Secretary Program Resources carries the responsibility to promote the Reading Program and response magazine. Informs and promotes the use of printed and audiovisual materials of United Methodist Women, which are available through the Mission Resource Center. Acts as a resource and provides support and training to district secretaries of program resource. Serves as chairperson of the Program Resource Committee and serves on the leadership team, program coordination committee, finance committee, Mission u, and other committees as assigned.
