The Board of Higher Education and Holston Conference are pleased to make two scholarships available for college students. Each is in the amount of $ 1,250. Funding for these came from collections in local churches on United Methodist Student Day.

To qualify, students must be a member of a Holston Conference United Methodist church and enrolled in one of the Holston Conference colleges (Emory and Henry, Hiwassee, Tennessee Wesleyan). Applications can be found online. The deadline for applications is April 30, 2011. Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 31, 2011.
