Do you find yourself spending time and energy supporting others? Are you drained spiritually, emotionally, and physical? Do you feel you have everyone else’s back but you wonder who is holding you?
Since 1983, The Upper Room’s Academy for Spiritual Formation® has offered an environment for spiritually hungry pilgrims (lay or clergy).
Holston Conference will host a Five-Day Academy for Spiritual Formation® July 24-29, 2016, at Emory and Henry College in Emory, Va. A daily rhythm provides the framework for the week: study and prayer, silence and liturgy, solitude and relationship, rest and exercise. Rev. Don Saliers will facilitate learning and conversation about how participants are held by God regardless of their circumstances. Rev. Robbins Sims will guide participants as they explore how they can then hold others in Christ’s name
Tuition includes a private room and bath, all meals, and full participation in the event. Before the June 15 early registration deadline, the cost is $540/person. After that date, the cost is $590.
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required with registration and all payments are due by July 11. Clergy participants will earn 2.3 CEUs.
