ALOCA, Tenn. -- The Holston Conference center debuted a new "Event Center" on Sept. 2 when it hosted a meeting of the Extended Cabinet and district administrative assistants.

The 2,500-square-foot space on the first floor of the conference center has a capacity for 100 and is fitted with audiovisual equipment, conference leaders said.

The space is available for Holston churches and groups to use and is a new option for gathering, conference leaders said.
