The 2020 theme for Holston Annual Conference: "I Love to Tell the Story."

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 session of Holston Annual Conference broke from its traditional meeting pattern to protect participants and reduce spread of the virus. A main session was held online on June 27, 2020. Separate videos were provided for the Mission Focus (opioid addiction crisis) and the Memorial Service. An online Clergy Session was held June 8, 2020.  An in-person unfinished business session was held July 22 in the Alcoa Conference Center, attended by the Extended Cabinet. The 2020 Service of Ordination and Commissioning was held in person at Concord United Methodist Church on March 6, 2021.
