Bishop announces projected staff appointments

ALCOA, Tenn. (April 26, 2018) – Bishop Mary Virginia Taylor, resident bishop of Holston Conference, announces the following projected appointments for conference staff positions, effective July 1:

Rev. Angela Hardy Cross will serve as Mountain View District Superintendent. Cross currently serves as pastor at Bethel United Methodist Church and Lincoln Park United Methodist Church in the Tennessee Valley District. See bio.

Rev. Terry Goodman will serve as Conference Secretary/ Director of Clergy Services. Goodman currently serves as pastor at Trinity United Methodist Church, Big Stone Gap, in the Appalachian District. See bio.

Rev. Kathy Heustess will serve as Executive Director of the Holston Center for Wellbeing. Heustess currently serves as Executive Director of the Coastal Samaritan Counseling Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. See bio.

Rev. Tim Jones will serve as full-time Director of Communications. Jones currently serves as senior pastor at Sycamore Tree United Methodist Church in the Smoky Mountain District. See bio.
