Going to Annual Conference? Change in housing reservations requires response by Jan. 30

Organizers of the 2015 Holston Annual Conference mailed letters on Jan. 12 to more than 2,000 clergy and lay members expected to attend the June 7-11 meeting in Lake Junaluska, N.C.

The letters informed members of a change in housing reservations and the critical need to respond by Jan. 30.

"There will be no call-in day for reservations," the letter states. "Instead, all attendees who seek on-campus housing will follow the same procedure, including those persons with special housing needs."

Annual Conference members are instructed to submit their requests for housing directly to Lake Junaluska Reservations Office in one of two ways:

1) Submit the online form by Jan. 30. The link is available at ac.holston.org

2) Mail the enclosed paper form (provided in the letter) to Lake Junaluska by Jan. 30. The form may also be found at ac.holston.org.

Lake Junaluska reservations staff will enter all requests for housing into a pool from which they will draw attendees at random. Lake Junaluska will then contact attendees directly by Feb. 20 to finalize reservations and seek collection of a $100 housing deposit.

Members are also requested to register their attendance online at ac.holston.org by May 20.
