KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (April 26, 2015) – The congregation of Concord United Methodist Church gathered for Sunday morning service as usual, but this week’s services were different.
The church celebrates its 150th anniversary, kicking off with a tree planting for kids and a groundbreaking in a courtyard at the church.
“It means to us that the church is alive and strong through many trials and many challenges, this church has been fed by the holy spirit and has been stirred into ministry, outreach and missions and service to this community,” said Brent Hall, senior minister.
