In 2010, Holston has responded enormously to disaster relief by giving to the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR).  As of May 14, churches and individuals gave these total amounts:

• Tennessee floods - $12,155

• Haiti - $796,037

• Chile - $18,732

• One Great Hour of Sharing (administrative costs) - $50,162

• UMCOR Emergency Relief  - $6,173

• UMCOR Disaster Response  - $4,698

TOTAL -  $ 887,957
