The Office of Connectional Ministries and the Personnel Resources Committee are pleased to announce that Gaye King, currently serving as the conference receptionist, has been selected to fill the position of Associate Director of Connectional Ministries, effective June 1. Her primary responsibilities will include ministries of advocacy and justice, as well as children’s and family ministries, both of which have advocacy components. At the same time, we regretfully bid farewell to the Rev. Dan Gray. After five years of service as Coordinator of Youth Ministries for Holston, Dan has resigned to accept a position as Director of Youth Ministry at Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church in Johnson City, Tenn. We wish Dan well as he enters this new phase of ministry and express our profound gratitude for his years of service to the youth of Holston. We are committed to finding the best person to be in ministry with and on behalf of the youth of our conference.
