The Hope for Africa Children's Choir is comprised of 23 children ranging from 5 to 12. The children made their international debut at the denomination's General Conference held in Fort Worth, Texas, April 23- May 2, and are continuing on a tour of United Methodist churches and organizations in six states until the end of July.
After singing at the Holston Annual Conference on June 11, the choir will tour Holston from June 23 through July 2. In most cases, a love offering will be taken. For the June 28 concert at Niswonger Performing Arts Center, $5 admission is also required:

June 24: Keith Memorial UMC, Athens, Tenn., at 7 p.m.
June 25: First Oak Ridge UMC, Oak Ridge, Tenn., at 7 p.m.
June 26: Concord UMC, Knoxville, Tenn., at 7 p.m.
June 27: Tuckaleechee UMC, Townsend, Tenn., at 7 p.m.
June 28: Niswonger Performing Arts Center, Greeneville, Tenn., at 7 p.m.
June 29: Colonial Heights UMC, Kingsport, Tenn., at 6 p.m.
July 1: Pleasant View UMC, Abingdon, Va., at 7 p.m.
July 2: St. Paul UMC, Wytheville, Va., at 7 p.m.
