> Rev. Mathilda Sue "Mat" Merker died on March 10. A memorial service will be held at Charlestown Chapel in Catonsville, Maryland, on Saturday, May 18, 2019. The family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m. with the service beginning at 11 a.m. followed by lunch.

 

> Rev. Don Large died March 19 in Gate City, Va. See obituary. Memorial donations can be made to the food bank at Midway Memorial United Methodist Church.
