In Memoriam: Eastridge, Graham

 

Nancy Eastridge

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. -- Nancy Ellen Collins Eastridge, age 46, died Dec. 29, 2010, at Wellmont Hospice House of Bristol.

The Rev. Eastridge was a Holston Conference clergy member who was serving as associate pastor at Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church in Johnson City.

She is survived by her mother, Nancy Collins; her husband, Michael A. Eastridge; children, Hannah and Ben Phillips; brother, the Rev. Roc Collins and his wife Jeralyn; brother-in-law, Wesley V. Eastridge and his wife Joy; sister-in-law, Karen Eastridge; nephews, Ro Collins, Noah Collins, Sam Eastridge, and Tim Eastridge; nieces, Chrissy Eastridge, Caitlin Maxey, and Amanda Blitz.

A memorial service was held Jan. 2 at Munsey Memorial UMC.

 

Doyne Graham

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. -- Doyne Eldridge Graham, age 77, died Feb. 7 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center.

The Rev. Graham was a retired Holston Conference clergy member who had transferred from the Little Rock Conference in 1986 before serving Whitwell-Redhill, Lincoln Park, and South Cleveland-Black Fox United Methodist churches, among others. He retired in 1998 after pastoring for 42 years in Arkansas and East Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Betty Ruth Peek Graham of Murfreesboro; two sons, Ronald Doyne (Virginia) Graham of Murfreesboro and Terrell Alan Graham of Murfreesboro; one daughter, Rebecca Graham (Mike) Rock of Hermitage, Tenn.; two sisters, Veta Graham (Carroll) Blewster of Arkansas and Lou Dean Graham (Bob) Howard of North Carolina; and four grandchildren, Andrea Rock, Nathan Graham, Ethan Rock and Zachary Graham.

A service was held Feb. 10 at First Murfreesboro UMC with the Rev. Michael O'Bannon and the Rev. Thad Austin officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Franklin, Tenn.
