Treasurer announces dates for health insurance enrollment, 2013 line-item budget

The Holston Conference finance office has announced important dates in the concluding months of 2012.

Open enrollment for clergy and lay staff wishing to make changes in their health insurance is Nov. 1-30. To access related health insurance forms, visit Holston.org. For more information, contact Ken Luton at (865) 690-4080 or kenluton@holston.org.

The Council on Finance and Administration (CFA) has also set the following dates for approving and implementing the 2013 budget line-items, as promised at the 2012 Annual Conference in June.

  • Dec. 4: CFA approves recommendation from Executive Team related to specific line items.
  • Dec. 7: CFA seeks approval from Extended Cabinet, acting as the Annual Conference, to approve specific line-item budget.
  • Dec. 10: CFA posts details of approved line-item budget on Holston.org.
  • Jan. 1: Holston Conference operates with 2013 line-item detail.
