The Call: Top 5 headlines in April 2019

The biggest and best news of all, of course, was the Easter celebration that defines our faith. But in Holston Conference land -- who knew! -- our readers really do care about creation care. The story of Sara Orellana, our new Creation Care chair, was not only the most-clicked among The Call's April stories but was read throughout the denomination via United Methodist News Service. Stories about the denomination's struggle over sexuality continue to be highly ranked. Another indication of what our readers might be thinking about: The Lewis Center for Church Leadership's "Top 10 reasons why visitors don't return" was more popular than stories on our missions offering for opioid addiction or the closing of Hiwassee College.
