God of our weary years, God of our silent tears, thou who has brought us thus far on the way: we confess that we have not judged each other as gifted. We confess that because of our negligence we have not honored those who are different among us. Help us to allow our gifts to be used as Jesus did at the feast at Cana. Help us to extend hospitality to those working toward social justice. Help us to become the beloved community you call us to be. In the name of your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
