Press release: Holston Conference Foundation announces new website

ALCOA, Tenn. -- The Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church Foundation recently launched a new website to assist churches and individuals in determining a planned giving strategy that fulfills their philanthropic goals and assists a charity of their choice through a deferred gift.  With helpful tools like a weekly e-newsletter, articles on senior living issues and a planned giving calculator, the Holston Legacy site ( will help those interested in leaving a legacy make an educated decision.

“We are very excited about this opportunity to educate members of the Holston Conference through this new site,” said Roger Redding, Executive Director of the Holston Conference Foundation. “Visitors to the site will be able to build their own personalized estate plan, receive valuable consultation on effective deferred gifts and be exposed to many issues that are trending in Washington related to charitable gift laws.”

Professional advisors will also benefit from the site as helpful articles on IRS rulings and run charitable deduction calculations easily. Hopefully they will appreciate the advantages of using GiftLaw Pro as a complete charitable giving and tax service. GiftLaw Pro is a component of the new Foundation website.
