KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (June 14, 2016) --  Steve Diggs is all about faith, family and being a father figure to thousands of kids through the Emerald Youth Foundation and the different programs it offers like summer soccer near Downtown Knoxville at the Sansom Sports Complex.

Diggs says it’s a family affair.

“It’s not just a job for me, but our whole family’s integrated in the work and also the life of the community. Early on in our work, my wife and I moved into the urban community. We live right behind Fulton High School. My son’s a graduate of Fulton and my daughter will soon enter into Fulton High School herself and so we think it’s important to be part of the community and they’ve joined me in that work and that belief,” he said.
