Convocation looks beyond the fight
The elephant in the room was the possible upcoming division of the denomination that could change Ministers Convocation this year and most likely by next year.

In the first large meeting organized by the unofficial group, UMCNext Holston, 103 United Methodists gathered in a downtown Knoxville church Feb. 15 to discuss and begin planning for a “more inclusive” future for the denomination. Read the story.
