Warm weather is here, so is season for outdoor Christian youth festivals

These Holston groups are sponsoring youth rallies in the months between May and September. All youth groups are invited. 

Saturday, May 5
Knoxville, Tenn. 

Faith United Methodist Church will host Faithstock 2012, the third annual outdoor Christian music festival, on May 5 from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. Musical groups include: Faith Youth Praise Band, Jonathan Maness, Logan Murrell, Catching Fireworks, Sevenday Believer, and Roger Williams and The All Mixed Up Quartet.

Bring lawn chairs or blankets. Concessions are available. Admission is $3 per person in advance, $5 at the door. Chapel Hill United Methodist Church presents its first Christian concert and youth rally, Reborn, on June 30. The gates open at 9 a.m. (CDT); the event is from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Musical groups include the Wayne Kerr Band, Roger Williams and the All Mixed Up Quartet, Jason Dildine, and AnyGivenDay. The rally also features speaker Justin Lookadoo, drama and vendors.

Saturday, Sept. 8
Maryville, Tenn.      

The Maryville District presents the second annual youth rally, Exposed, on Sept. 8 at the "Field of Dreams," Middlesettlements UMC. The all-day festival features (worship leader) Roger Williams and the All Mixed Up Quartert, (speaker) Ketrick Newell, (praise band) Sidewalk Prophets, and (MC) Rev. Micah Nicolaus.

Gates open at 10 a.m. The festival begins at 11 a.m. and concludes at 8 p.m. Cost is $10 per person by July 1, $15 per person by Aug. 1, $20 per person by Sept. 1, and $25 per person at the door. Group rates are available for groups of 25 or more: $2 discount per ticket (available by mail only).
