KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 17, 2018) -- The UTK Wesley Foundation is hosting two events for upcoming college students. We want to help bridge the gap from youth group to college by reaching out to students heading off to college -- not just those planning to attend UTK. We want to show them a glimpse of college ministry and what they have to offer on campus.
On February 25, we invite college-bound high school seniors to worship with us and stay for dinner. This will let them see us in action, have time with our students, and get a chance to ask questions. Worship begins at 6 p.m. with dinner to follow. We suggest arriving around 5:30 p.m. Youth directors are requested to send us a general count so we can plan numbers for dinner. We will conclude at 7:30 to 7:45 p.m.
On April 6, we are having a fun night of fellowship from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Join us for food, a tour of the building, information about our programming, questions and answers, and games in the courtyard.
Let us know if your seniors are coming and about how many to expect. For both events, parking is available in the UT lot below us and also in our own lot (though that is somewhat limited). Carpooling would be best.
For more information, email sparrott@utkwesleyfoundation.org or call (865) 522-2728. We are also available to come talk to youth groups, seniors, parents, or youth leaders.
