Tell us what you think about:
- Ministers' Convocation. The topic for the Feb. 3-6 continuing education event for clergy was "Living Stewardship." Were you there? If so, tell us about something you learned in the lectures, workshops, or worship ... so that we may share it with those who were not there. (You know who you are.)
- Call-Out. If you haven't seen it yet, "Call-Out" is a quick print-out of the most basic yet pressing information from the conference office. "Call-Out" also includes United Methodist lectionary readings for the following two Sundays. Is this kind of information helpful to you? If not, what information could we provide on a weekly basis that would help you in your ministry? If "Call-Out" is a waste of time, we're fine with that. Let's do something better.
- C-Mail. "C-Mail" is our letters to the editor section in the newspaper. (You'll find a provocative collection of those in the February edition, page 4.) A person who recently re-subscribed to the newspaper wrote, "Do you ever ask your readers what they like about The Call ... or what they don't like?" Well, yes, we thought we did. But if you have something to say on that topic (or any other), please send a "C-Mail" right now.
- What's hot. The Holston Conference delegation to General Conference will hold an open meeting at First White Pine United Methodist Church on Saturday, March 29, from 1 to 3 p.m. Members who wish to address the delegation on any topic are invited to attend. Let us know if you have any thoughts on that, too.
Please respond to any of these requests with an e-mail to thecall@holston.org. Please put "Your Two Cents" on the subject line.
