• Virginia stories – It really hurts when readers sometimes accuse The Call of slighting coverage of our churches and ministries in southwest Virginia. Four of Holston's 12 districts are based in Virginia, and great care is taken to include Virginia whenever plans are made for newspaper or online stories. But we need your help, too. Please send in news and photos for "District Roundup" and also tell us about the great ministries happening in your district. We are currently looking for outstanding, interesting clergy or lay members in Virginia to feature in the "At Lunch" column appearing in the newspaper.
  

• Coming soon – A story on about a young Wytheville District member attending Virginia Tech, and a prison ministry at Quarry UMC in Abingdon District. Give us more of these!

• Earth Day is April 22. We're considering a special environmental edition of The Call 2. Is your church doing anything to observe Earth Day ... or environmental ministry in general?
