The Board of Ordained Ministry is that part of our "organized life" which plays a vital role in receiving from the local church, its naming of those discerned to be called by the Spirit of Christ for "set-apart" leadership guiding the educational, spiritual, physical and emotional preparation for such leadership, exercising the credentialing procedures for consecration, ordination, or licensing, and upholding standards of continuing education, effectiveness in ministry, and moral/ethical faithfulness to the standards upheld by our office.
