The Wesley Leadership Institute (WLI) develops standards of training/education, systems for accountability and responsibility in reporting/recording continuing education activity for clergy, informationabout upcoming training opportunities available in the Southeast area, and grants to support clergy toward participating in continuing education activities.

WLI is committed to providing lifelong learning opportunities that nurture mind and heart of clergy in the Wesleyan tradition. WLI serves as the primary body within the Annual Conference that facilitates continuing education for ordained clergy, training for Pastors in transition to new churches and First Time Appointees in Holston Conference.
