The global refugee crisis continues to rise at a high rate. Now there are more displaced people around the world than ever in our history. The role of the church to respond to this global crisis remains vital as ever. In this webinar, we will discuss the history of the church and how the church has responded to refugees throughout the world from the 1940s to present as well as the impact this crisis has had on the church as a whole.
Rev. Vy Nguyen currently serves as the Executive Director of Week of Compassion, the relief, refugee and sustainable development mission fund of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
