Mark your calendars now, and join us for another re-Connect the Connection training event this Fall.
Discipleship in a Post-Pandemic World will take place September 16, October 21, and November 18. You can choose to join at 2:00 pm or 7:00 pm EDT. Each session will include an "on-demand" pre-recorded session and a "live" 1.5 hour session for 1 CEU.
Scott Hughes, Executive Director of Congregational Vitality & Intentional Discipleship at Discipleship Ministries will lead us all three days. Here's a sneak peek of our time together:
Session 1 - Developing a Culture of Discipleship
It is been stated that, "Culture eats strategy for lunch." We'll explore practices for developing a culture that focuses on discipleship formation.
Session 2 - Importance of Pathways and Systems
Systems are all around us and have a larger impact than we notice. Using systems thinking can aid church leaders in creating a culture of discipleship and discern best next steps to improve the culture towards discipleship formation.
Session 3 - Online and hybrid models
We'll explore practices to help small groups thrive within a culture of discipleship and other ideas for incorporating online and hybrid models of faith formation.
