Accessibility Audit deadline (revised)
The Accessibility Audit deadline has been postponed to February 10.
For those qualifying churches submitting their reports by the original January 15 deadline, they will be entered twice into the drawing for the mission prize money.

You could win $100 by completing a form

Complete a church Accessibility Audit by January 15, 2023. Rev. Mike Sluder, Director of Holston’s Director of Connection Ministries will draw the names of five Holston Congregations that achieve Bronze, Silver, or Gold (Basic, Satisfactory, or Great) status. Each of these will have $100 donated to The Advance project of their choice! All churches that reach one of these levels will also be recognized at Annual Conference.

Yes, step one is complete an Accessibility Audit:

Do you want some guidance on answering the questions?
Besides winning $100 why should you do this? We applaud the friends who cut a hole in the roof of a house to get their lame friend to Jesus. It is time to make it possible for the 10% of your community who have a disability to enter the house of the Lord without destroying roofs. Since 1990 all buildings, except churches, are required to meet the Americans with Disabilities Act standards. It is beyond time for us as Christians to meet the basic (Bronze) level of accessibility and clearly declare our buildings and hearts are welcome.

Yes, for those of you on 6-point circuits, you will get up to six chances to win! This is the one of the rare times it pays to be on a circuit.
