We are pleased to announce that the guest speaker for our Eat with the Missionaries Dinner at Holston Annual Conference this year will be the Rev. Harry Howe, Executive Director of Project Crossroads in Marion, VA. Besides being the founder and Executive Director of Project Crossroads, he serves on Mel Leaman Free Clinic Board of Smyth County as Board Chair, serves as the Chair of Board of Commissioners for Marion Redevelopment & Housing Authority, serves as the Disaster Coordinator for the Clinch Mountain District of UMC. Harry is also an Ordained Elder of Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church; a commissioned Missionary with the General Board of Global Ministries of UMC; a Physician Assistant licensed in Virginia; a Certified Master Electrician, Plumber and Mechanical HVAC in Virginia; and holds the Certification for Contractors License in Virginia. He also is a Paramedic in Virginia.
This year, Project Crossroads is celebrating 30 years of ministry in and around the Marion, VA area. Harry will sharing with us some of the myriad of stories about the ways God continues to be at work through Project Crossroads. We look forward to seeing you at Annual Conference.
