Tyner United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time Director of Student Ministries for students ages 6th-12th grade.
The ideal candidate will have a strong biblical knowledge, a growing faith in Christ, and a passion for ministering to students and their families. They will be outgoing and gifted at building a program from the ground up. Responsibilities will include recruitment and training of volunteers to lead in student ministry activities, as well as planning and implementing weekly activities, monthly gatherings, and outreach opportunities for students and their families. The Director of Student Ministries will report directly to the Senior Pastor and the Staff Parish Relations Committee.
The position will pay $20 per hour and will require the Director of Student Ministries to work 8-10 hours per week, with the possibility of increased hours as the program grows. Please send resumes to the following email: office@tynerumc.com.
