Tyner United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time Kids’ Ministry Coordinator for children ages birth – 5th grade.
The ideal candidate will have a strong biblical knowledge, a growing faith in Christ, and a passion for ministering to children and their families. Responsibilities will include ensuring adequate staffing for all Kids’ Ministry rooms during activities and small group studies on Sunday mornings as well as other times children’s activities are planned; planning and implementing children’s worship and Sunday school activities; planning and implementing a children’s class or program for one night each week and building relationships with the children’s families.
The Kids’ Ministry Director will report directly to the Senior Pastor and the Staff Parish Relations Committee. The position will pay $20 per hour and will require the Kids’ Ministry Director to work 8-10 hours per week, with the possibility of increased hours as the program grows.
