Broad Street United Methodist Church of Cleveland, Tennessee, is excited about their next Director of Youth Ministries. Broad Street is a downtown church that is over 150 years old, but has a passion for new life.

We offer multiple worship services including traditional and contemporary. We have a 300-acre retreat center called Johnston Woods, and our Unity Center campus serves the community. Our youth choir consistently has over 50 students meeting weekly. Our youth group has about 30 active students but is poised for growth. Our children’s program is growing and offers opportunity upon which to build. We are prayerfully seeking a trustworthy youth director to lead and guide our middle school and high school youth group.

The candidate must demonstrate a heart for the Gospel with a passion for discipling youth and a desire to support and connect with their families. The candidate should exhibit a fun spirit and strong organizational skills. We are looking for someone who also has a proven track record of using social media to communicate with students and parents.

Located in the southeast corner of Tennessee is Cleveland, this is a community that houses offices of 12 Fortune 500 manufacturing companies. Many buildings in the city’s architecturally pleasing downtown district date to the 1880s, 1890s and early 1900s. The community welcomes many tourists thanks to numerous opportunities for whitewater rafting, hiking, biking, fishing and camping in the Cherokee National Forest. Higher education options include Lee University and Cleveland State Community College. The public schools are excellent and the community is family oriented.
