KINGSPORT, Tenn. -- Organist/ Facilities Manager

KINGSPORT, TENN - Colonial Heights United Methodist Church seeks a full time Organist/ Facilities Manager.

This dual position is for 36 hours per week + benefits (Health Insurance and Retirement Plan).
  • As the Organist, the candidate is expected to be a person of high moral character who has an appreciation and love for the task of the Church as an extension of Christ’s ministry in the world. The Organist / Facilities Manager should understand the importance of the ministry of church music, especially organ and piano, as a vital part of the worship experience.
  • As the Facilities Manager, the candidate is expected to work with the Church Trustees to provide oversight to the maintenance, upkeep, and security of the church property, buildings, and grounds.
The candidate will have acquired a bachelor’s degree; and spiritual gifts include faith, leadership, knowledge, and administration.
