Dear Leaders of Holston,
Holston is embarking on its largest ever campaign of $1.5 million which will culminate in the 2024 mission offering at next summer’s Annual Conference. These funds will go to equip the next generation of Holston leaders by supporting our 5 Conference Wesley Foundations, 5 Holston Camps, and 2 Conference Colleges. Our future is bright and beautiful!
Chances are, you or someone in your church leadership, was impacted by one or more of these ministries: Emory & Henry College, Tennessee Wesleyan University, UTC Wesley, UTK Wesley, ETSU Wesley, Radford Wesley, UVA-Wise Wesley, Camp Bays Mountain, Camp in the Community, Camp Dickenson, Camp Lookout, and Camp Wesley Woods. These ministries have served to equip leaders in Holston for generations and will continue to do so for many more generations.
We would like to ask you to consider budgeting $13 per church member in your 2024 church budget to help us reach our $1.5 million goal. If all Holston churches gave $13 per member, we would reach this enormous goal! As we celebrate our 200th anniversary of being Holston Conference of The United Methodist Church in 2024, we look forward to our next 200 years. Together we are capable of helping to equip our future leaders. Together we will benefit from these New Voices for generations to come.
Please consider including New Voices in your 2024 church budget, and help us support our upcoming Holston leaders.
