Healing and Joy: On Our Journey to God

2021-2022 Program Resource focuses on finding healing and joy in our lives. Stories are shared from scriptures who felt a similar need to find healing and joy in the midst of transition and hardship. A must have resource for all United Methodist Women.

New This Year: Ideas on how to “Take the Next Most Faithful Step” close each program, suggesting ways you can put the ideas discussed into action right now.

New Daily Prayer Guide 2022

Our beloved Prayer Calendar has a new name and focus. The hope is to encounter God and find joy through the stories and prayers provided. God's love invites us into mission with our neighbors and this love has the power to transform the world.

This new devotional guide resource will inspire you daily through prayers and mission reflections that testify to the impact of United Methodist Women and Global Ministries outreach in the world and how those who serve encounter God and find joy through their work and calling.

World Thank Offering

Each year, United Methodist Women have the opportunity to show their gratitude for God’s blessings through the World Thank Offering.

Sometimes the Lord surprises us with an unexpected gift. As people of faith, we are uplifted by the Lord’s beautiful promise through the prophet Jeremiah. In the place where there was sadness, loss, and disappointment, there will again be “the voices of those who sing, as they bring thank offerings to the house of the Lord: ‘Give thanks to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good, for his steadfast love endures forever!’” (Jeremiah 33:11, NRSV). In God’s time, our prayers are answered according to his wisdom. Truly, God does great things! We are grateful that we want to express our thanks and tangibly share God’s blessings with others.

All the contributions to the World Thank Offering are gathered together to support the total program of mission through the United Methodist Women’s national office. Contact your district and/or the conference treasurer for more information. Contact World Thank Offering for additional resources.
